Getting there and the Santa Cruz terminal
Baleària Canarias departs from the Estación Marítima Puerto-Ciudad on the Muelle de Ribera, right by the centre of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. By car, follow the signs for Puerto and Estación Marítima, from the TF-1 from the south or the TF-5 from the north. The Intercambiador bus station and the tram stop are a few minutes away.
Check-in and departure
With Baleària Canarias you need to be at the terminal 60 minutes before departure without a vehicle and 90 minutes with one. Bring ID or a passport in your hand luggage, and residents show proof of address for the discount. Departures to Arrecife are usually in the evening, with the ship arriving the following morning; exact times are in the timetable.

The Sicilia takes 9 hours 45, the Volcán de Tagoro 10 hours 45. Both are vehicle ferries with cabins, seating areas, a cafeteria and outdoor decks. For the overnight crossing, book a cabin as an add-on to your ticket; otherwise you travel in a seat. Payment is in euros, by card.
Vehicles, bicycles and pets
Cars, motorhomes, caravans, motorbikes and bicycles travel along; vehicle type, dimensions and registration plate go into the booking. Arrival in Arrecife and onward travel
The ferry docks at the Muelle de Los Mármoles, Lanzarote's main port on the northern edge of Arrecife. It's a few minutes by taxi or bus to the centre. The LZ-2 leads to the airport and to Playa Blanca in the south, around 35 minutes away; the LZ-1 heads north to Órzola, the port for La Graciosa. Back from Lanzarote to Tenerife
