About Biosfera Express
Biosfera Express is the second operator between Lanzarote and La Graciosa, based at the Puerto de Órzola on Calle La Quemadita. It covers the roughly six kilometres from Órzola to Caleta de Sebo in 25 minutes and sells its tickets through its own booking system, both online and at the harbour. Alongside the ferry line, the operator offers group trips, excursions and holiday apartments on La Graciosa.
Timetable
Nine departures a day each way: from Órzola from 08:00 to the evening, from La Graciosa from 07:00, with a break in the early afternoon. Times can change with the season; the day's departures are listed in the timetable.
The route covered on this site
Biosfera Express only runs Órzola - La Graciosa and back. Together with Líneas Romero, that's 16 to 18 crossings a day; your return ticket is valid on the ferries of the operator you booked with.
Luggage, vehicles and pets
Luggage travels with no limit, sports luggage free of charge; cars stay in Órzola, as La Graciosa is closed to private vehicles. Pets travel with a pet passport. Wi-Fi is available on board. More on dogs on the Canary Islands ferries in the guide Travelling with a dog in the Canary Islands.
Tickets and fares
Fares are fixed, for a one-way trip and for a return; children, Canary Islands residents and large families pay less, with the resident discount checked at the last step of booking. You can change the date and time free of charge, subject to availability, and cancel up to 24 hours before departure at no charge. The booking window shows current prices, and the price overview compares it with Líneas Romero.
