Which island from Cádiz

Cádiz is the mainland port of Baleària Canarias. From here, the Volcán de Tinamar sails a rotation across the Canary Islands once or twice a week, calling at up to five islands. The order changes with each departure, so the crossing time to your island is always shown in the timetable for that particular sailing.
Lanzarote and Fuerteventura
The eastern islands are usually the first stops. To Arrecife the ship takes around 28 hours, to Puerto del Rosario around 32. Both ports are in the island capitals, and by car you're half an hour from Playa Blanca or Corralejo for the onward crossing to the other island. Gran Canaria and Tenerife
The two large islands are the line's main destinations. To Las Palmas the crossing takes around 35 hours, to Santa Cruz de Tenerife around 33; depending on the rotation, one or the other island comes first. Both ports lie right in the cities. La Palma
Santa Cruz de La Palma is the final stop, around 47 hours from Cádiz, roughly once a week in season. For La Palma, combining the ferry to Tenerife with the onward crossing from Los Cristianos is often the quicker option; with a motorhome or plenty of luggage, the direct crossing saves the change. On board the Volcán de Tinamar
The crossing lasts at least one night, so you'll book a cabin or a reclining seat. Getting to the Cádiz ferry terminal
The ferry terminal is in the city port of Cádiz, on the peninsula of the old town. The railway station and the city motorway end just a few minutes away.

Via the AP-4 or A-4 to Cádiz
Coming from Seville, the AP-4 and A-4 run right to the city. The terminal is at the Muelle Marqués de Comillas in the city port; the way to the port is signposted.
With a vehicle, be at the terminal 90 minutes early
Baleària Canarias requires 90 minutes' notice with a vehicle on the Canary Islands routes. With motorhomes and trailers, allow more time still, as the loading order depends on vehicle size.

Vehicle type, length and height belong in your booking. A vehicle declared incorrectly can be re-charged or turned away at the terminal.

To Cádiz railway station
The station is on the edge of the old town, a few minutes on foot or by taxi from there to the terminal. Connections from Seville, Madrid and Jerez.
Without a vehicle, 60 minutes early
Foot passengers need 60 minutes' notice with Baleària Canarias. Download your boarding pass beforehand or collect it at the terminal desk, which opens at least two hours before departure.
